International Power - Minimal Exposure to Enron

(London – 3 December 2001) International Power today reaffirms that as stated in the company’s recent quarterly results announcement it has a very limited trading exposure to Enron and its wholesale trading activities.

The exposure as at 30 November 2001 was estimated to be less than GBP 2 million. International Power stopped transacting with the company over a month ago.
